Carol Vorderman had cosmetic surgery to achieve 'Kardashian bum', claims former I'm A Celebrity star

Carol Vorderman has gone under the knife to achieve her enviable figure, claims a former I’m A Celebrity star. Carol, 62, who lives in Bristol, is currently taking part in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, having previously taken on trials in the jungle on the 16th series of I’m a Celebrity in 2016.

Television personality Nicola McLean, 41, from London, who competed on I’m A Celebrity back in 2008, shared her opinion of this year’s line-up in an Instagram live. According to the Daily Star, she praised the former Countdown host’s “unbelievable” physique while also speculating that Carol’s look isn’t possible to achieve naturally. 

“She's definitely had her bum done 100%. I don't know if she's been open about it but there's no way. You can't get that sort of bum by working out in the gym. You can't. It's a Kardashian bum, so she's had something done to it,” Nicola said.

Carol has previously denied having had cosmetic surgery, while claiming intermittent fasting and regular workouts help to maintain her toned figure. Last year, she documented her visit to an exclusive Juice Master retreat in Portugal on Instagram, where 15 of her 18 days were spent consuming just juice.

Having enjoyed spa facilities, meditation and exercise, Carol boasted of having dropped a dress size and being able to fit back into clothes that she hadn’t worn in years after completing the fitness retreat. The mother-of-two has since been working out frequently with a personal trainer whose glute sculpting exercise plan includes goblet squats and hip thrusts. 

Carol, who won ‘Rear of the Year’ in 2011 and 2014, has penned a selection of books on the topic of maths and weight loss. It’s unclear how the TV presenter tracks her body measurements, as she recently revealed on the Table Manners podcast that she hasn’t weighed herself in 24 years. 

Carol explained: “After the detox diet, I haven’t weighed myself since 1999 - don’t know what I weigh. I won’t let anyone tell me what I weigh - you know when you go for medicals. And by and large, when I’m home, I eat quite well.”

Carol has been engaging with her over 336,000 Instagram followers regularly since she made her debut on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Monday 24 April. She donned a selection of stunning bikinis as she showed her toned stomach in a recent post sharing the swimwear she had considered wearing on the popular ITV series. 

The show was pre-recorded last year, so there are no public votes determining the Bushtucker trials or who eventually wins. Viewers have speculated that there may be a feud among the campmates after spotting that Carol doesn’t follow Janice Dickinson or Shaun Ryder on social media.

Janice was seen claiming in episode one of the series that she didn’t know who the celebrities in camp were. Referring to Shaun and Paul [Burrell], she said: "I am so psyched, I’ve just met two campmates and they seem to be such nice guys, I wish I knew who they were."

Lorraine Kelly recently attempted to quiz Carol about Janice during a segment on her ITV daytime show, in which Carol said: “We’ll not talk about her so much.”
