Carol Vorderman stuns in a selection of bikinis as she prepares for I’m A Celeb shower scenes

Carol Vorderman has revealed the selection of bikinis that she considered wearing while on I’m A Celebrity All Star.

The TV star, 62, who lives in Bristol, took to Instagram to share a selection of bikini snaps as she considered swimwear to don while filming ITV’s spin-off show in South Africa.

She went makeup-free as she showed her toned figure in a mirror reflection, while wearing a simple gold bikini.

In one snap, she can be seen donning a khaki green camouflage bikini top and matching hot pants. In another snap, she flaunts a busty black leopard print two-piece, whilst another shows her posing poolside in a neon green bikini.

Carol captioned snaps, writing: “BIKINI CHOICES… SEPTEMBER 2022

I hate the shower bits in camp so I took my time in isolation to find the bikinis that I’ll feel more comfortable in 😂… only 3 days to go now.

“You can catch me on @thismorning today talking about all things I’M A CELEB… SOUTH AFRICA. See you there.”

The body positive post comes after Carol revealed that she no longer sunbathes, as a result of previously discovering that she had precancerous skin cells.

On Thursday, Carol took to her Instagram stories and explained how she previously had a biopsy, where her skin tissue was examined.

The former Countdown star said: “I don’t sunbathe anymore or rather, I choose not to, because I’ve had you know, little precancerous skin thingy, biopsy thingies, all of that.”

“So I do fake tans. Do you like this one? Put that on last night, a little bit of fake tan. Hopefully it lasts,” she added.

Carol has not been diagnosed with skin cancer, however she highlights that melanoma is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK.

The TV star has always been open about her healthy lifestyle and regularly shares her gym workouts with her Instagram followers. She recently revealed that she hasn’t weighed herself in 24 years.

Speaking on the Table Manners podcast, Carol explained: “After the detox diet, I haven’t weighed myself since 1999 - don’t know what I weigh. I won’t let anyone tell me what I weigh - you know when you go for medicals. And by and large, when I’m home, I eat quite well.”

ITV’s spin-off show, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! All Star is quite different from the original show, which usually airs annually in November.

The show was pre-recorded last summer, so there are no public votes determining the Bushtucker trials or who eventually wins.

Carol Vorderman will be seen from 24 April, alongside a star-studded line-up including the likes of Janice Dickinson, Amir Khan and Helen Flanagan.
