Bristol City will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend as they host Blackpool in the Championship. The Robins haven’t won either of their two matches this month.

Nigel Pearson’s side had previously enjoyed a brilliant run of form and were unbeaten in the second tier since a defeat to West Brom on Boxing Day. They will now be looking to continue their gradual climb up the table and will be confident of picking up all three points against Blackpool.

Bristol City have struggled with injury concerns as of late, with Joe Williams confirmed to be out for the rest of the season prior to their draw against Huddersfield Town. The midfielder picked up a hamstring injury and a scan on Saturday confirmed the disappointing news.

Meanwhile, the Robins will also be without Tomas Kalas after he was forced off in their defeat to Cardiff City. The defender is expected to be sidelined for six weeks and is unlikely to return until the final few matches of the campaign.

Matty James will be assessed ahead of kick-off after picking up a knock against the Terriers, while Kal Naismith, Tommy Conway, Rob Atkinson and Ayman Benarous are still out.
