Tottenham Hotspur are 'seriously' looking at Bristol City wonder kid Alex Scott, as they contemplate a move for him in the summer transfer window.

Several Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Scott, who is deemed the best young player in the Football League, and is highly thought of by several high-profile managers and former players. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola desribed him as an ‘an unbelieveable player’ after their FA Cup match, whilst Manchester United and Ireland legend Roy Keane said that he was a ‘top footballer’.

The 19-year-old has missed just one Championship match this season through suspension, and has got assists in the league this year, as well as an FA Cup goal against West Brom. He has already played more than what he did in his breakout campaign last season and has in recent weeks kept captain Andi Weimann out of the side.

CBS Sport journalist Ben Jacobs says that the Robins youngster is 'expected to leave' in the summer, with both Spurs and Wolves 'seriously' looking at the Guernsey Grealish, with Newcastle United also a team to watch. Jacobs added that Bournemouth's interested has cooled in him, but both Leicester City and West Ham are still tracking him, whilst Leeds United's interest was when Jesse March was at the helm.

Several weeks ago it was reported by Football Insider that Newcastle were leading the race, as they could entertain the idea of loaning Scott back to City. Another season in the Championship could prepare Scott for one day in the Premier League, who has been tipped to one day represent the England national team by his manager Nigel Pearson.

It will take a reported £25m to prize away Scott from Ashton Gate, with technical director Brian Tinnion admitting he could leave. Asked about City's transfer plans in the summer, Tinnion said last week to BBC Radio Bristol: "It depends on any outgoings as well. There's going to be interest in Alex Scott, maybe one or two others but definitely three, maybe four if one goes."
