Maya Jama: Love Island host has ‘no urge to post on social media’ amid Leonardo DiCaprio dating rumours

Maya Jama has revealed that she has “’no urge to post on social media” after rumours that she’s dating Leonardo DiCaprio spread online.

The Love Island host, 28, from Bristol, has travelled to several destinations across the world, since the winter series of the ITV2 show ended last month.

She has been sharing a glimpse into her glamorous travels on social media, while continuing to keep her personal life private.

Maya’s previous high-profile relationships have included rapper Stormzy, 29,  NBA star Ben Simmons, 26, and she has recently been rumoured to be dating Hollywood star, Leonardo Dicaprio, 48.

The former Radio DJ has been distracting herself with her flourishing career prospects instead of updating fans amidst the ongoing gossip.

She took to her Instagram stories in a fresh-faced clip over the weekend to explain her recent absence from social media.

Maya captioned the post:  “Hardly been on my phone. Some exciting work things happened.”

“Felt 0 need to scroll online and no urge to post. I’ve been having a lovely time with no photo evidence (until later),” she added.

Maya shared a clip dancing in a mirror as she showcased her holiday glow, wearing a white crop-top and black sporty shorts.

Leonardo and Maya Jama were first linked in February, when they met through mutual friends and reportedly spent two late nights out together in London. After which they were spotted leaving the Parisian club, Le Piaf together.

A few weeks later, the Love Island host travelled to New York for a work trip, where she allegedly also met up with Leonardo again.

An insider told The Sun that Leonardo and Maya were in regular contact, but were not "rushing into anything" and were "having fun and seeing how things go".

The source continued: "They live in different countries and Maya has had a long-distance relationship before and knows it’s tough, so they are taking things a day at a time. Leo has certainly been wooing her though, he loves spending time with her."

Maya has since slammed the rumours, calling them “silly” and telling people to “Move on.” Leo has been linked to several women, following his break up with American model and actress, Camila Morrone, 25, last year.

Before the Maya rumours started to spread, the Titanic actor was romantically linked to models Gigi Hadid, 27, and Eden Polani, 19. Leonardo DiCaprio has not confirmed his relationship status amid the rumours.
