The new pals already share a connection through Maya’s ex-boyfriend Stormzy, who Louis interviewed for his ‘Louis Theroux interviews…’ series last year. During the documentary the rapper candidly opened up about his break-up with ex Maya and compared the experience to “actual death”

Maya has become a household name, after starting on YouTube and becoming a radio DJ, she ventured into TV presenting, where she’s achieved credits on Channel 4’s The Circle, BBC’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, ITV’s Walk the Line and most recently ITV2’s Love Island.

She was also recently announced as the newest brand ambassador for Rimmel London, which will also give her more exposure in the beauty sphere.
