Charlton Athletic loan out pair

Charlton Athletic have loaned out Mack Reilly and Sahid Kamara to Corinthian Casuals. The pair have been allowed to head out the exit door on a temporary basis to get some experience under their belts in the Isthmian League Premier Division. They are both due to return to The Valley in a month’s time.

Lincoln City defender heads out

Lincoln City defender Jay Benn has joined Bohemians on loan ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland season which begins at the end of February. The Imps swooped to sign the full-back from National League outfit FC Halifax Town last summer but he has struggled for regular game time. Centre-back Regan Poole scored for Mark Kennedy’s side on Saturday as they beat Bristol Rovers at the LNER Stadium.

Portsmouth man speaks out

Portsmouth’s Reeco Hackett-Fairchild was linked with Lincoln and Cambridge United on deadline day. He ended up staying put at Fratton Park beyond the deadline though and has told The News that he is perfectly happy where he is: “There was nothing really, it was just the normal deadline day nonsense. Ultimately, I’m a Pompey player, I want to be here and I signed a new two-year deal in the summer. It’s where I’m happy and this is where I want to play my football.”
