The Love Island host, 28, from Bristol, took to her Instagram stories to update her almost 3 million followers as she travelled on Monday. She joked about “usually being smashed” during flights after opting to stay sober for the entire journey.
Maya has travelled to several destinations across the world, since the winter series of the ITV2 show ended in March. She has been sharing a glimpse into her glamorous travels on social media, while continuing to keep her personal life private after denying Leonardo DiCaprio dating rumours.
The former radio host donned simple grey pyjamas offered to Emirates Airlines first class passengers as she filmed herself jetting off.
She captioned the video: “Never wear the pyjamas cause I get shy, but I’ve gone for it today and they are bloody lovely.”
Maya then panned the camera round to show the inside of her private cabin and zoomed into her laptop which was playing the HBO fantasy drama, Game of Thrones. “Also mad late to the Game of Thrones party,” she added.
The Game of Thrones TV series, was adapted from the book A Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, and ran eight seasons, between 2011 and 2019.
Maya went on to post a fresh-faced video showing herself wearing a white hoodie and black cap with her hair in two tidy plaits.
She captioned the post: "Didn’t drink the whole flight and now having tea while waiting for the next flight. GROWTH I’m usually smashed by this point! 🤣"
Once on-board her next flight the Bristol-native, who owns skincare range, MIJ Masks, referenced the importance of skincare as she zoomed into her flawless skin with the simple caption: “Moisturised.”
Maya then shared a snap of a well-known scene from season one, episode four of Game of Thrones.
She acknowledged that she was watching the series four years after the last episode aired, saying: “This is gonna take over my life now, but at least I don’t have to wait for new episodes. 🤣”
ITV have confirmed that Maya Jama will be returning for the summer edition of Love Island, which is set to hit our screens on 5 June 2023.
