Maya Jama is glamorous in crop top and white trousers for her first Rimmel London photo shoot

Maya Jama has featured in her first Rimmel London photo shoot since being announced as their global brand ambassador.

The Love Island host, 28, from Bristol, looked glamorous in a social media post as she posed for snaps wearing a makeup look entirely done with the cosmetic brand’s products.

Rimmel London UK took to their Instagram account on Saturday to share the images with their over 680,000 followers.

Maya cut a stylish figure in a seventies inspired look, styled by Tess Herbert. She donned a rust-coloured, ribbed, halter neck top and a pair of high-waisted white trousers. To bring the look together, hair stylist, Patrick Wilson, created a fine sleek braid that twirled down her front.

In true ‘Living the London Look’ style, the campaign shows Maya standing in front of London’s iconic Tower Bridge.

The popular cosmetics brand has previously worked with models Kate Moss, 49, and Jade Jagger, 31, to promote the London Look campaigns. They have also previously teamed up with Cara Delevingne, 30, and Rita Ora, 32.

Maya’s beauty look was crafted by make-up artist, Letitia Sophia, who used a total of eight Rimmel London products to create the final look. This included the Multi-Tasker Concealer in ‘Tan’ and ‘Honey’, ScandalEyes Precision Eyeliner and Provocalips 16hr Liquid Lip Colour in ‘Kiss The Town Red.’

Last week, the Love Island presenter took to Instagram to announce that she would be working with Rimmel London and said she’s “off to have a dance and celebration” with her friends.

She gushed about working with the cosmetic brand being a dream opportunity, saying: “I grew up with this brand, and have dreamed about saying the iconic “london look” line on tv one day, and now it’s happening I don’t even have the words - following in the footsteps of Kate Moss.”

As the new face of Rimmel London, Maya is far from inexperienced as a model, as she has many campaigns already under her belt, from the likes of Pretty Little Thing, JD Sports, GAP and Maybelline cosmetics.

This is yet another exciting role from the Bristol-native, who spent the start of the year wowing viewers as the new host of Love Island.

Maya took on the role on the ITV2 dating show after Laura Whitmore, who spent two years in the role, found the travelling back-and-forth made it hard to focus on other work ventures. Laura initially intended to take on the role for just one series, following the the death of her friend and original Love Island host, Caroline Flack, but stayed for three.
