Carol Vorderman looks radiant in sunkissed snaps as she admits to having ‘no intention’ to wear makeup

Carol Vorderman has revealed that she is happy with her more natural style and will not be wearing make-up or brushing her hair for a while. The former Countdown star, 62, who lives in Bristol, regularly makes TV appearances on This Morning, with immaculate hair, make-up and a glamorous form-fitting wardrobe.

However, Carol took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a series of snaps that show her natural beauty after enjoying a day of open water swimming. The I’m A Celeb star, who regularly updates her fans on the platform, told her 364,000 followers that she has no intention of wearing make-up or brushing her hair.

In the photos, Carol can be seen looking fresh-faced, with wild untamed damp hair. She captioned the post: "Swimming... happy day. Bloomin’ cold water mind. Soz... but have no intention of wearing make-up or barely brushing my hair for a while now.So be warned. Happy proper scruff inbound x," she added.

Fans of the Countdown legend flooded the comments section, with one writing: “Do not apologise! You look stunning!!! Xxx”, another wrote: “You don’t need makeup. Looking happy and lovely."

Whilst a third said: "You do you..We get to an age where you realise it’s impossible to be everything to everyone so take me or leave me.. You look bloody beautiful by the way." A fourth commented: “You’ve no need for makeup Carol as your Stunning natural Beauty is sublimely timeless!”

This comes just hours after Carol teased that she is working on a “very interesting project” with actor Rob Brydon, 58, and 1990s singer Peter Andre, 50. The I’m A Celebrity South Africa star didn’t reveal the details of the collaboration, but both Peter and Carol shared the snaps and gushed over their “fun” day working together.
