Carol Vorderman has teased an upcoming collaboration with Michelle Visage, after she appeared on the RuPaul Drag Race star’s podcast in January. The former Countdown star, 62, who lives in Bristol, took to Instagram to post two snaps alongside friend, Michelle Visage, 54, who previously branded her as a "milf."

She captioned the snaps: “Vorders and Visage. Visage and Vorders. Whichever way it pleases....💪🏼❤️ My bud @michellevisage and I have a cunning plan...coming to somewhere near you soonishish....ha 😂”

It seems the pair recently met up in London, to devise a “cunning plan” for a potential collaboration, as Carol teased her 348K Instagram followers with the snaps. She didn’t go into detail about what exactly the ladies would be getting up to, but the unlikely duo certainly got fans excited in the comments.

With one fan commenting: “👑👑 excited for whatever it is 💜,” and another writing: “Wow ..two Inspirational women ❤️❤️🙌.” Whilst a third chimed in, saying: “Omg what a combo 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

In the snaps, Carol can be seen wearing a bright orange long-sleeve top with black details, whilst Michelle dons an edgy look with a black top, black leather jacket and large gold hoop earrings.

The RuPaul Drag Race star had invited Carol onto her BBC podcast, back in January, which is dedicated to ‘true originals who have ripped up the rule book to forge their own path to success’. In the show, Carol spoke about everything from her poor upbringing to her five ‘special friends’.

After the recording, Carol took to Instagram to post a photo and video montage from the day, which she soundtracked with a remixed version of ‘Girls just wanna have fun.’  Captioning the post: “MICHELLE VISAGE PODCAST @bbcsounds RULE BREAKERS OUT TODAY. Had the most amazing morning with the Dame herself.... @michellevisage.”

“We have got SO MUCH TROUBLE coming down the track. Vorders and Visage ❤️❤️❤️.” she added.

They obviously made an impression on each other, as the US Drag Race star also shared snaps from the day with her 2.1 million Instagram followers, writing: “Your new fave MILF duo you never knew you needed….ADORE YOU @carolvorders

“Expect more chaos from Vorders and Visage in the foreseeable future….,” she added.

This comes just days after the I’m A Celebrity…South Africa all-star series finale aired, which Carol starred in alongside many other popular campmates from over the years. The spin-off show, which was filmed at the Kruger National Park, saw Carol return to camp after first appearing in the Australian jungle, in 2016.

This series saw Carol narrowly miss out on the final, with Myleene Klass coming out victorious after eating fermented eggs, pig snouts, 60 mouse tails and 40 spoonfuls of stinky tofu, during the last moments of the final face-off trial.

Michelle Visage’s BBC Podcast is available to listen to now on BBC Sounds.
