The Telegraph notes how the cinema’s then-manager Robert Parrington Jackson was murdered in 1946.

It says: “In 1946 a full house was watching Rudyard Kipling’s The Light That Failed

“Disguised by the sound of the film, they did not hear the cinema manager, 32-year-old Robert Parrington Jackson, being shot in the office next door.

“The murderer was never caught and Jackson’s ghost has been seen around Screen 3, next to where the manager’s office was located.”

Have you noticed any spooky goings-on in the cinema?
