Bristol Animal Rescue Centre: 14 cute dogs and puppies looking for a forever home
Help find long-term homes for these adorable dogs

From talkative chaps to sweet and sensitive souls, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre has a continuing cycle of dogs looking for new loving homes - they just need your help to find them.
This month, the charity has put out an urgent appeal for help in rehoming 15 of its dogs based at the group’s St Philips site.
So, if you or/and the family are looking for a new lifetime friend this summer, do pay the charity a visit. Or if you can’t rehome, consider making a donation to help the city’s vulnerable animals by clicking here.
A spokesperson said: “We have lots of dogs here at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre currently so we’re really keen to get as many as possible into lovely new homes as there are many more out there who still need our help.”
Here are the dogs in need of rehoming:

1. Ollie
Ollie is a young energetic lad who still struggles to control his excitement at times. Due to his enthusiastic nature he will require ongoing training to stop him from nipping, alongside standard puppy training and socialisation. Ollie arrived to us with a cleft palate, which he has received corrective surgery for to reduce the risk of further related complications. Ollie is a very playful boy who absolutely loves his toys. He does settle down for a cuddle once he’s tired himself out, but as an adolescent dog he is still very mouthy and will need training. He loves working for food and will benefit from a home that has lots of time to work with him. Ollie is such a happy, enthusiastic boy and will melt your heart with his sweet smile!

2. Sadie
Sadie is a beautiful German Shepherd with a warm, friendly disposition. She had a difficult start in life and as a result is a bit afraid of men. She’s looking for a home where she can relax and have company for most of the day. She is super affectionate, enjoys play time and really likes her walks. She is currently building up her muscle strength on walks, so she only goes out for short walks a few times a week. Adopters would need to be understanding of this, and continue this system after she has been adopted. Sadie has had a difficult time, but still has the loveliest personality and brightens everyone’s day with her cheeky smile. She could potentially live with another dog, pending introductions.

3. Maple
Maple is a friendly, affectionate girl who is looking for a home with an experienced dog owner. She can be a bit sensitive and prefers a quiet life where she can sit in the sun and enjoy the peace and tranquility of her own space.

4. Phineas
Meet Phineas, a happy and lively dog that is looking for a home that can enjoy his enthusiasm for life. Phineas loves to be with people and is happiest when out walking with his carers. He does not like being left on his own for long and gets upset when left. He gets worried by traffic and loud noises so would prefer a country home away from the city life. He is a very playful dog and is happy to play with most toys and loves other dogs to play with too…as long as they can match his energy levels. Phineas is a lovely, young dog that has a lot to offer his new home. He would benefit from a home that has the time and patience to continue his training to help him grow into the excellent pet that we know he can be.
