Bristol Animal Rescue Centre: 14 cute dogs and puppies looking for a forever home
Help find long-term homes for these adorable dogs

From talkative chaps to sweet and sensitive souls, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre has a continuing cycle of dogs looking for new loving homes - they just need your help to find them.
This month, the charity has put out an urgent appeal for help in rehoming 15 of its dogs based at the group’s St Philips site.
So, if you or/and the family are looking for a new lifetime friend this summer, do pay the charity a visit. Or if you can’t rehome, consider making a donation to help the city’s vulnerable animals by clicking here.
A spokesperson said: “We have lots of dogs here at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre currently so we’re really keen to get as many as possible into lovely new homes as there are many more out there who still need our help.”

5. Pablo
Pablo is a big lad with a big heart, and he deserves a home where he gets all of the attention he deserves. He’ll need an adopter with previous experience of larger dog breeds, who can confidently handle him. He mostly walks well on lead, but if he sees another dog, or something he wants to go explore then he can be very strong. He is a friendly boy and really enjoys playing with lots of different toys. What he needs is a nice calm, quiet home to call his own.

6. Moose
Moose is a lovely girl with a cheeky personality and classic English Bull Terrier traits. She would benefit from adopters who have previous experience with the breed, and can truly understand her nature. She would benefit from adopters who have previous experience with the breed, and can truly understand her nature. She is affectionate once she gets to know you, but she likes to take her time when building bonds with new people. She's had some troubles with her eyes so she needs to have daily eye drops but we've developed a good routine with her for doing this and will happily work with adopters so they can continue this with her.

7. Rusty
Rusty is a friendly, older staffy who is still full of life and energy. He loves playing with toys, training, and going on walks. This dog is sociable with people, and is really friendly with everybody that he meets – including the vet! Although he likes people, his new owners will need to be prepared for Rusty’s dog reactivity, and understand that he won’t be able to socialise with other dogs. Rusty has had an altercation with another dog while in our care, and will need to be kept on lead when out and about. Walking Rusty in more secluded areas without other dogs around would make walks far more enjoyable for him. This lovely lad would make an excellent companion for anyone looking to share their sofa with an older gent!

8. Skyler
Skyler is a lovely, friendly and affectionate dog who is looking for a home with experience of working breeds. She is very clever and active and will benefit from a home that can keep her occupied throughout the day. Her new family will need to be able to provide plenty of stimulation, either through sports such as agility classes, or through a commitment to regular enrichment and training. Sadly she wasn’t toilet trained before arriving here, but we’ve been working with her on this and she’s doing well – she’ll need an owner who can keep up the good work.
