Bristol Animal Rescue Centre: 14 adorable dogs and puppies looking for a new home this summer
These adorable animals are hoping to find a loving family to call their own this summer

It’s not just people finding it hard during this cost-of-living crisis - Bristol Animal Rescue Centre says it has seen an increase in animals arriving, including some with severe medical conditions.
The centre based in St Philips says it is there to ensure no animal gets left behind, but it needs help. The average stay for a dog has recently risen from 85 days to 93 days, and bosses are keen to find many a loving home as quickly as possible.
And what a good time to adopt. With the days getting warmer, these dogs offer the opportunity for a companion for life to explore the region’s paths and parks - and then a pet to feel close to when the days get shorter.
So if you’re thinking about getting a new four-legged friend, why not consider visiting Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.
Here are 14 of the trust’s dogs and puppies which all need a new family:

5. Binx
Binx is an active, clever young dog who would be ideal for adopters that were interested in dog sports or extensive training. This clever lad could also be suited to life as a working dog in a variety of scent detection fields.

6. Maddie
Maddie is a kooky little dog with a huge personality – so if you want to rehome a dog with endless amounts of sassiness, Maddie could be your girl!

7. Fergus
Fergus is a beautiful young dog, who is highly sociable and loves to meet new people. He loves toys, especially tennis balls – Fergus could quite happily chase and fetch a tennis ball all day long!

8. Soldier
Soldier requires a home that preferably has experience in owning dogs of similar breed and temperament. Adopters should also understand that, although he has come a long way, Soldier is nervous and will need lots of support and patience as he settles into his new home.
