Bristol Animal Rescue Centre: 14 adorable dogs and puppies looking for a new home this summer
These adorable animals are hoping to find a loving family to call their own this summer

It’s not just people finding it hard during this cost-of-living crisis - Bristol Animal Rescue Centre says it has seen an increase in animals arriving, including some with severe medical conditions.
The centre based in St Philips says it is there to ensure no animal gets left behind, but it needs help. The average stay for a dog has recently risen from 85 days to 93 days, and bosses are keen to find many a loving home as quickly as possible.
And what a good time to adopt. With the days getting warmer, these dogs offer the opportunity for a companion for life to explore the region’s paths and parks - and then a pet to feel close to when the days get shorter.
So if you’re thinking about getting a new four-legged friend, why not consider visiting Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.
Here are 14 of the trust’s dogs and puppies which all need a new family:

13. Phineas
Phineas is a happy and lively dog that is looking for a home that can enjoy his enthusiasm for life. He loves to be with people and is happiest when out walking with his carers.

14. Major
Major is an adolescent husky with a big personality and a lot to say! He is very affectionate, and loves to play and spend time with people.

15. Hector
Hector is a sweet, sensitive soul who would love to find understanding adopters with plenty of time to spend with him. Lovely Hector can struggle with new experiences/ environments and it can take a while for him to relax. Sometimes he can become quite upset and even vocal on occasion. Hector struggles when seeing other dogs and would prefer to be exercised away from them, so he can actually enjoy his walks.
