Hide AdMacclesfield Town after failing to win promotion from the Northern Premier League Premier Division have moved on 11 players, including Nolan. They were defeated by Marine on Monday (May 6) with Finlay Sinclair-Smith and Jack Bainbridge on target for Marine, who reached the third round of the FA Cup and played Spurs in 2021.
The 32-year-old joined Macclesfield on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, dropping in to the non-league scene for the first time in seven years. He penned a one-year deal at the Leasing.com Stadium, but struggled to get in to their match day squad, with the last mention of him on Macclesfield's Twitter feed coming in December.
In a message to Nolan and the 10 other players departing, the Silkmen said: “We would like to thank departing players for their effort whilst wearing a Macclesfield shirt.”
