Where Bristol City are predicted to finish in the Championship table this season

Bristol City’s impressive run came to an end at the weekend as they suffered defeat against Cardiff City on Saturday. The Robins were unbeaten in the Championship since a loss to West Brom on Boxing Day but their form came to a dramatic halt in the Severnside derby.

Despite City’s brilliant start to the year, they still sit 14th in the Championship table and are eleven points off a play-off spot, while also 12 points above relegation. The rest of the campaign looks rather set in stone for Nigel Pearson’s side, though they could still earn their highest finish in the second tier since winning promotion from League One in 2015. Lee Johnson guided the Robins to eighth in the Championship during the 2018-19 season.
