Bristol City take on relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday night as they look to bounce back from their Severnside Derby defeat to Cardiff City. The Robins lost their first league game of the year after goals from Sory Kaba and Jaden Philogene.

City's last defeat before losing to Cardiff was against West Brom on Boxing Day, and they went on a 12-game unbeaten run which was ended by Manchester City in the FA Cup last week. As a result of City's involvement in the FA Cup, their match with Huddersfield was postponed, and now they play their game in hand tomorrow evening.

Nigel Pearson's side are 11 points off of the top six with a game in hand against Norwich City, and know that consistency will be key if they are to make a late push for the play-offs. A win against Huddersfield could move them in to mid-table with Preston not in action until the weekend. Huddersfield meanwhile are battling for their lives and after sufering a 4-0 defeat to Coventry City on Saturday, survival looks unlikely. The Terriers are seven points adrift of safety but a win could move them up two places, and bring the gap between them and Cardiff to four points.
