Nigel Pearson is undecided on his Bristol City team to face QPR on Monday, but isn't expected to make any wholesale changes. The Robins travel to Loftus Road on Bank Holiday Monday, hoping to finish off their campaign with a victory.

Ayman Benarous is back on the training ground and is working towards a return after suffering a setback with his ACL injury. He suffered the injury at the end of the 2021/22 campaign, and has missed the entirety of this season. Rob Atkinson has something to strive for after being given a new deal whilst he recovers from his ACL injury he sustained in February against Sunderland. He has only just began doing gym work after a four week rest from physical activity, and will miss most of pre-season as well as a chunk of the 2023/24 season.

Tomas Kalas is in contention after being named as an unused substitute against Burnley last week. He had missed the last 10 matches through a groin injury with several niggling setbacks, and is hoping to make an appearance. He is out-of-contract in the summer, and there is a decision to be made on whether to keep him or move him on.

Anis Mehmeti and Kane Wilson did not make the 18-man squad last week, and there are no injuries that have been specified. It was the first time Mehmeti missed out, meanwhile Wilson has not been included in the last five games.

The Hoops won't be able to call on Osman Kakay who has been out since March with a knee injury. On-loan Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts has missed a majority of the campaign through injury. He was an unused substitute against Coventry City but has not made the match day squad since.

Chris Willock came off the bench last week but has not started a match for QPR since April 7, which could hint at a starting opportunity for the former Arsenal youngster.

Jake Clarke-Salter was an unused substitute against Stoke City last week and may play a part. The former Bristol Rovers loanee was forced off against Norwich City after 60 minutes but could get some action. Sinclair Armstrong did not make the squad against Stoke last weekend, despite a promising display in the 2-1 win over Burnley. He suffered an injury on international duty, and that put him out for five games.

Chris Martin, who left Ashton Gate on a free transfer, could play against his former club. He was released on Deadline Day, and has since scored four goals in 15 appearances for Gareth Ainsworth’s side. Albert Adomah is another former Robins player that is in line to play.
