The Alex Scott rumour mill is continuing to churn out new information each day as the Bristol City star looks set to leave Ashton Gate this summer. That’s only if a club is willing to meet the Robins’ £25 million asking price, though, which has proven to be a difficult ask so far.

Several Premier League outfits are closely monitoring Scott and his current situation, but who will be the first, if any, to make a move as the transfer saga continues? Let’s take a look at the latest Bristol City transfer updates for the summer window.

Premier League side willing to meet Scott price tag

Scott is surely headed for England’s top flight some time soon and his most likely destination is now looking like Bournemouth. That’s according to TEAMtalk, who have reported that there are some snags with other clubs currently in the running for the 19-year-old rising star.

Wolves are interested in his services but may find it difficult to meet the £25 million fee, while West Ham are said to be ‘reluctant’ to meet the amount the Robins are asking for. This has paved the way for Bournemouth, who are ready to offer the asking price as they back new manager Andoni Iraola on his first transfer window.

Kane Wilson bids farewell to Robins

Derby County have officially signed Kane Wilson from City for an undisclosed fee. The right-back spent just one season in red before making his move on to a new chapter in League One. The Robins released an official statement to announce Wilson’s departure and he replied with a ten word farewell message to the club and fans ahead of the 2023/24 season.

“Thanks guys, wish you all the best for the future,” he wrote on Twitter along with the heart hands emoji.
