Bristol City’s situation with Alex Scott continues as interest continues to ramp up over the 19-year-old rising star. There is yet to be a decision made on his future but the rumour mill continues to provide new updates for the potentially departing Robin.

Scott tipped to be ‘exceptional signing’ for Wolves

Wolves are among the many clubs interested in signing Scott this summer and naturally, they face heavy competition. The rising midfield star has the pick of the litter right now but transfer reporter Dean Jones believes he would be a very good signing for Julen Lopetegui.

“Wolves are interested in Alex Scott, but it goes without saying they have hot competition to beat off if they are to actually sign him,” he told GiveMeSport. “They will also have to negotiate around the asking price. That £25million price point hasn’t moved, but it’ll be interesting to see if they can stick to it.

“Scott would be an exceptional signing. He really does have high levels to strive to, and he totally should be the type of talent you target when undergoing a refurb like the one Wolves are going through.”

Pundit weighs in on Kane Wilson exit links

Derby County are currently on the market for Bristol City’s Kane Wilson after he fell out of favour under Nigel Pearson. The right-back made just seven appearances across all competitions last season and overall, he has struggled with both form and fitness while at Ashton Gate.

Carlton Palmer believes that Wilson to Derby would be a smart move for all involved, as per an interview with Football League World.

“Kane who shone for Forest Green as they won the League Two title under Rob Edwards in 2022 has struggled for fitness and form since he joined Bristol City. So this would be a great opportunity for him to get going again and playing regularly, it could be beneficial for both parties.”
