Bristol City have often resisted from doing too much permanent business in the January transfer window and this month hasn’t been any different. The Robins have welcomed one new signing, with Nikita Haikin joining on a free transfer after he was released by Bodo/Glimt.
However, following the disappointing departure of Antoine Semenyo to Bournemouth for over £10m, it could be an interesting few days on Ashton Gate. Though the Robins certainly don’t want to risk panic-buying, especially given a recent history of poor buys in the winter window.

Walsh joined Bristol City from Everton six years ago and only made 15 appearances in the Championship before joining Coventry City on loan, where he was named in the PFA Team of the Year.
