Woman in her 80s dies after being hit by car in Henleaze

An elderly woman hit by a car near a busy roundabout in Henleaze has died.
The woman, in her 80s, suffered serious injuries in the incident close to the Henleaze roundabout on Southmead Road on February 22 at around 5pm.

Hide AdShe was taken to hospital, but yesterday (March 3) evening passed away.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Our sympathies go out to her family at this time and they continue to receive support from specialist officers.”
An investigation into the collision continues.
