Images have been released showing how Temple Quarter could be transformed under plans for the area for the next 20 years.
A consultation has today been launched over Temple Quarter Framework - and new detail has come out such as a new multi-storey car park south of the River Avon and a ‘city destination’ with restaurants and bars at the Goods Yard.
Here are six images from the plans released today:
1. Midland Shed
Car parking would be removed for station facilities. A supermarket could also be introduced.
2. Northern entrance
The norther entrance will be improved and open space will be created outside with parking moved to a new multi-storey car park at the Southern Gateway
3. New eastern entrance
The new eastern entrance to Bristol Temple Meads will serve the University of Bristol Enterprise Campus and new homes at St Philip’s Marsh
4. Southern Gateway
