The business is listed for £995,000

A hotel and restaurant believed to be in the oldest building in Keynsham remains up for sale - more than a year after it was first listed. The Old Manor House Hotel, which dates back to 1609, is priced at £995,000.
The venue includes a bar, restaurant, function room for up to 150 people and a reception area. It is well-known locally for its Sunday lunches which receive good reviews on websites like TripAdvisor.

It was put on the market by Christie & Co in late 2021. The company says business is a good opportunity due to the hotel and restaurant being established and profitable, with a ‘great reputation’.
The building is believed to have been the Abbot’s house to the ancient abbey, where the St John’s Church now stands.
Keynsham town centre has seen several changes in recent months. Church’s Newsagents has been replaced by PDSA charity shop, while greengrocer WF Buss has also closed. The Wine Bar has been reopened as The Keynsham Courtyard and work is taking place to open a coffee lounge in the old HSBC bank.
