She added: "It was loud on Countdown and it’s loud and everything. You can’t help how you laugh can you?" Over the last few weeks, viewers have been picking up on her laugh more and more, and have been commenting online about the TV star’s unique laugh.

Carol responded to discussion surrounding her on-screen cackle, with one person writing: "Is it just me, or does anyone else find Carol Vorderman’s laugh annoying #ImACeleb." Whilst another commented: "Why is Carol Vorderman so bloody LOUD all the time? And that fake laugh - ‘HA HA HA’ at just about everything. Shut up woman."

A third chimed in, asking: "How do we vote Carol Vorderman and her fake laugh out of #ImACeleb." Another viewer admitted: "Carol Vorderman is getting on my nerves with her false laugh. #ImACeleb South Africa."

One viewer compared Carol’s unique laugh with another popular TV character, saying: “Carol Vorderman’s laugh sounds just like Basil Brushes I swear."

Carol asked her son during the Instagram live, she said: "Do you think I’ve got a wicked laugh Cam?" He sarcastically responded: "No, definitely not!" She giggled and replied: "And you don’t have a laugh like that, but your sister Katie…when the two of us, Katie and I start cackling away, it’s bad isn’t it?"

Cameron jumped in and gave a cheeky response by saying: “Well, it’s very clear when you’re having a good time.”

Carol then went on to discuss the departure of fellow campmate Janice Dickinson, who was forced to leave the show after an accident where she tripped over some cables and hit her head. Carol also asked her fans if they missed the public vote, which happens in the original series, there was a unanimous wave of agreement from everyone.

One fan commented: “I think you look better now, than you did on Countdown!” To which Cameron agreed, saying: “Yes, it’s like some sort of Benjamin Button situation.”

On Wednesday’s episode (May 10), it has been revealed that Carol is set to have a discussion with Myleene about body positivity, and they both admit to ditching the scales. Carol previously revealed that she threw her scales away in 1999, whilst Myleene will tonight explain how the birth of her daughter made her ditch the scales.

She said: “The second I had daughters, I threw out the scales. No way, I’m not going to have them ruled by numbers. Those numbers.”

I’m A Celebrity…South Africa continues tonight (May 10) at 9pm on ITV.
