Carol Vorderman has responded to her fellow I’m A Celebrity campmates, who have reunited without her. The former Countdown star, 62, who lives in Bristol, took to Instagram to respond to a post by Coronation Street star, Andy Whyment, 42, who had shared a sweet family photo alongside their I’m A Celebrity…South Africa co-star, Paul Burrell, 64.

The former royal butler can be seen sitting opposite his husband of six years, Graham Cooper as the group enjoyed a meal at Miller & Carter, in Lowton, Greater Manchester.
Andy took to his instagram to share the photo with his 389,000 followers, he captioned the post: "Lovely to catch up with @officialpaulburrell and @grahamjcooper tonight @millerandcarterlowton fantastic company and great food."
Fans of the Coronation Street star flooded the comments, as well as fellow I’m A Celebrity campmate Carol Vorderman, who reacted to their reunion. She jokingly said she was feeling jealous as the presenter was not in attendance.

The Countdown star was just one of the several former I’m A Celebrity campmates, who ventured into the South African jungle for the special spin-off series of the show. This series was different, however, as it was pre-recorded last Autumn, at the Kruger National Park, and had no public votes, so eliminations were based on survival trials.
The 62-year-old campmate narrowly missed out on a place in the final, when she and Paul Burrell were eliminated in 9th and 10th position. This meant that they also missed out on the popular celebrity cyclone, which always involves the last four campmates.

Hide AdCarol recently admitted that the I’m A Celebrity All-Star spin-off was pretty “brutal”. The TV star’s most memorable trial was the most intense challenge, and was called the ‘Trials of Torment.’
It involved the presenter climbing into a large tank of water, which was separated into four sections, each filled with different creatures and critters. She was then tasked with collecting the stars and coming up for air in the breathing holes when required.
Carol could only move from one section to the next, when Fatima cranked the handle to open the connecting doors. However, when it came to the last section of the tanks it became too much for Carol to handle.

Myleene Klass came out victorious and was crowned the first ever "I’m A Celebrity Legend" after she ate fermented eggs, pig snouts, 60 mouse tails and 40 spoonfuls of stinky tofu, during the final face-off trial with Jordan Banjo.
More recently, Carol got fans talking when she shared videos of her intense gym workouts, which her followers collectively called “inspirational.” She also updated fans on her work and admitted that she’s currently trying to knuckle down and write a book. She said: “I’ve been finishing off a synopsis for a book I want to write, a book that I’ve wanted to write for a long time.”
She told her 351,000 Instagram followers: “I’m very very excited about it.”
