One of Bristol’s largest sporting events is just a few days away - but there’s still time to dust off your running shoes and book a place if you fancy being part of the action.

The Great Bristol Run 2022 returns this Sunday (September 25) and promises to be an action-packed day that will see hundreds of runners dash across Bristol while taking in the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Thousands of spectators are also expected to descend on the event to cheer on loved ones, with a large number of road closures planned along major roads such as Anchor Road and The Portway.

Despite its popularity, the event hasn’t yet sold out, with places still available on the event’s family, 10k and half marathon routes waiting to be snapped up- here’s how.

This year’s event will also host the second annual Visually Impaired (VI) Runners 10k Challenge – currently the UK’s only dedicated race for blind and partially sighted runners.
