Family tribute to ‘loving, caring and wonderful’ grandmother from Southmead tragically killed in crash

A grandmother killed after being hit by car has been described as ‘a loving, caring and wonderful person’ in a moving tribute by her family.
Nora Pomery, who was in her 80s, suffered critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle near the Henleaze roundabout on Southmead Road on February 22.
She died just over a week later in hospital.

Hide AdHer son David, daughter-in-law Mandy and four grandchildren Gabriela, Luke, Kieran and Georgia have now released a tribute.
They said they were ‘deeply saddened by this tragic loss’.
They added: “Nora was a loving, caring and wonderful person that will be truly missed.
“If someone has any information whatsoever that could help with the investigation, please contact the police.”
Avon and Somerset Police is continuing to investigate the crash.

“The family have asked for privacy at this very difficult time.”
