Police investigating a hit-and-run in Westbury-on-Trym have released an image of a driver they wish to identify.

A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital following the crash in High Street on December 27, at around 2.15pm.

In the same month, police released an image of a grey Toyota Aygo in connection with the crash - and now they have published an image of a driver of a vehicle.

They want help identifying the person pictured, and locating the vehicle.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “We hope the public can help us identify the individual pictured who we wish to speak to in connection with this incident.”

A 20-year-old man was arrested as part of the investigation, and has since been released under investigation.
