Could it be? Banksy-style artwork appears framed and covered in Perspex outside Bristol Museum
and live on Freeview channel 276
Bristol has been lucky enough to feature several original Banksy
Bristol was the city which put Banksy on the map. The place where the anonymous artist’s work can still be found and celebrated; whether that be the Well Hung Lover on Park Street or The Girl with the Pierced Eardrum off Hanover Place.

Back in January, images appeared next to an original Banksy in Barton Hill, which later turned out to be the work of another artist called ‘Peachy’. He told Bristol World his works ‘are very similar’ to Banksy - ‘just the same style of artworks’.
Now another piece of art has got people thinking again.
This time it is on a low wall on Queen’s Road between Brown’s and Bristol Museum. It features a clown with his hands up facing the viewer. The words #freebanksy appear at the bottom of the work.
And the artwork is framed and coverd with Perspex.
So is it?
“A bit too obvious and contrived with the signature and Perspex but you never know,” said one person we spoke to.
“Funny if it was genuine as nobody is taking any notice at the moment,” they added.
