12 photos inside Bristol Beacon as the clock counts down to opening
The venue opens on November 30

The finishing touches are being applied to the newly-named Bristol Beacon venue, opening on November 30 - and we got a chance to go on a tour inside.
From the flooring being laid in the main Beacon Hall to the restoration in the Lantern Hall, the wraps are slowly coming off the £132m venue which will host moe than 200 gigs and concerts every year.
Operated by Bristol Music Trust, it will also provide the opportunity for young people through basement studios and a creative learning programme.
And so with just months to go with opening, we took a look inside:

5. Weston Cellar
At the basement of the building are the cellars where products taken in from sea would be stored for tax purposes. It will be a small performance space with an audience capacity of up to 200. (Credit: Giulia Spadafora, Soul Media)

6. Restaurant
How the restaurant will look like with tables and chairs spread over the space with low-level lighting and a small bar. An operator has been chosen for the restaurant, but not yet announced.

7. Walkway
The hallway between the Lantern Hall and Beacon Hall sits within a beautifully restored arched floor space with stairs going down. At the bottom of the opening will be a bar area. (Credit: Giulia Spadafora, Soul Media)

8. Artwork
Within the hall between the Lantern Hall and Beacon Hall, Byzantine-style artwork is being created through tiles on the wall.
