Bargain Brand Foods, which was previously based in Avonmouth, announced last month it was reopening at a new location in time for Christmas.

In a ‘sneak peek’ of the new site shared on Facebook, BristolWorld has been able to identify it as the former Strachan and Henshaw building on Deep Pit Road.

The video pans the former business units at the building - which closed after a major fire in 2019 - where renovation work is being carried out.

The store first opened at an industrial estate in Avonmouth last December, before closing a month later due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

It has been on the hunt for a new site since then, with plans for a previous new location falling through in May.

Kieran from Bargain Brand Foods said: “The new location is nearly double the size of what we had before so you know what that means…

“That means double the amount of stock, double the amount of deals and double the amount of bargain prices that we had from before.
