A discount food warehouse in Bristol has given an update about reopening after its previous site closed.
Bargain Brands Foods opened at Avon Riverside Industrial Estate in Avonmouth last December, before suddenly closing at the end of January this year due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

But in an update today (May 24), Bargain Brands has said the relocation plans have faced a setback.
“Unfortunately, the premises we were relocating to is no longer suitable for the type of planning needed,” the store wrote on its Facebook page.

“Thank you for all of your patience. We really are missing our Avonmouth store.”
The store is now asking customers to suggest suitable premises and warehouses it can relocate to in Bristol.
Bargain Brands specialises in stock near its use-by or best-before date, which means it can sell products at a reduced rate.
The Avonmouth site was the fifth store Darren Ward and his family opened in the UK since starting the business almost a decade ago.
