Aimee Stanton was a data reporter at NationalWorld until summer 2023. Aimee worked for the company since 2015 and in 2019 was seconded to the BBC’s Shared Data Unit in Birmingham where she was trained in data journalism. She was joint winner of Data Journalist of the Year at the Society of Editors' Regional Press Awards for 2019 and also Highly Commended in the Regional Journalism category at the Royal Statistical Society's Award for Statistical Excellence in Journalism 2020.
