The ‘Shine Bright for Bristol Children’s Hospital’ initiative comes with a fully interactive map so you can plan your route and make sure you see all of the beautiful displays. With 30 streets and over 100 festive homes taking part across Bristol, Portishead and Weston-super-Mare there’s plenty to enjoy.
From the festive Noel Gromit which will be projected onto Bristol Children’s Hospital every evening until early January to Park Road in Staple Hill showing 40 houses filled with lights and displays, there are many wonders to explore.
Other highlights include an appearance from Frozen’s Elsa on Hollisters Drive in Hartcliffe every Friday and Saturday night. You may even catch a glimpse of a certain reindeer and sleigh.

A new house will be revealed each day. Or check out the iconic Brailsford’s Christmas display which includes 50,000 lights, 3D reindeer and giant santa’s. See the big guy himself on Christmas Eve between 4 - 6 pm.
A mainstay of the festivities, last year’s Santa Float raised £14k for The Grand Appeal. This year you can expect a special Christmas Eve moving display featuring Jingles Gromit on the Downs and going past the Children’s Hospital.
Kate Jones, Community Fundraising Manager at The Grand Appeal, said “We are always so grateful for the incredible donations we receive and this year we wanted to help by putting these wonderful festive illuminations on the map to make sure everyone gets the chance to see them”.
You can donate to the cause at the individual houses or online.
