A festival that delivers an eclectic mix of great live music, snazzy and cool rides as well as a buzzing atmosphere is set to make its return to Bristol this weekend.

What is Bristol Volksfest?

Bristol Volksfest is a popular car show and festival that is returning to the South West of England with a weekend perfect for those who have a passion for cars, live music and enjoying what is widely known for its great atmosphere.

Synonymously a two-day event - continuing with the tradition with this year’s Volksfest too - the first day is always the main day of the festival with a catalogue of entertainment in store, from live music to pop up cinemas.

Whilst the second day allows the ‘Show & Shine’ car show to take centre stage.

When is Bristol Volksfest 2022 and where is it?

This year’s Bristol Volksfest is scheduled to take place at the beginning of June in 2022.

The first day of the event is Friday, 10 June, whilst the second day - the main festival day - will be on Saturday, 11 June, with the Show & Shine portion of the event taking place on the third day, which is Sunday, 12 June.

It will be hosted at Birches Farm in Long Ashton, a location known for its local and fresh produce, regularly used as a host for various events and festivals throughout the calendar year.

Can I still get tickets to the festival and how much will they cost?

Despite the widespread demand ahead of this year’s event - with the 2022 iteration the first without Covid-19 restrictions - tickets are still available so you best be quick if interested in attending Bristol Volksfest.

The price varies depending on how much of the festival you wish to attend, as well as how old you are. Here are the official prices of tickets for day visitors of Bristol Volksfest 2022:

Saturday

  • Adults - £20 per person
  • Kids, 10 to 16 - £10 per person
  • Kids, 5 to 9 - £5 per person
  • Kids, 4 and under - FREE
  • Family, two adults and two kids - £50

Sunday

  • Adults - £10 per person
  • Kids, 10 to 16 - £5 per person
  • Kids, 9 and under - FREE

*Please note, day tickets can be purchased in advance online and on the gate in-person

The entry times for the festival are: Saturday (9:30 am to 8 pm, show closes at 11 pm), Sunday (9:30 am to 3 pm, show closes at 5 pm).

Can I camp at the festival and what is the weather forecast for the festival?

Attendees will have six different options of camping to purchase for the festival - such as general camping, family camping and glamping (bell tents).

There are also options for disabled camping too, which makes the event inclusive for all.
