Wood previously had aspirations of playing for his boyhood club Bristol City until he got injured and went onto play golf. The 35-year-old has won three European Tours.

2. Lily Owsley - £820k
Owsley is a field hockey player who plays for Dutch club hdm and the England and Great Britain national teams. The 28-year-old scored GB’s first goal of the final when the women’s team won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

3. Emily Diamond - £1.2m
Diamond took up athletics at Bristol Grammar School and has since won bronze at the 2016 Olympics and gold at the 2016 European Athletics Championships.

4. Nad Narimani - £4m
Narimani was the former Cage Warriors Fighting Championship featherweight champion after beating Paddy Pimblett in 2017. He made his UFC debut the following year but was released in 2020.
