After a dramatic end to last season that saw Bristol Rovers win promotion to League One at the first time of asking, Joey Barton’s side are now enjoying a hugely successful start to the current campaign as they sit in 8th place. They sit only three points behind a play-off spot in the third tier.

While many Rovers fans won’t have been expecting to be competing in League One so soon, they will certainly be enjoying their brilliant form in recent months. The Gas have put on some superb displays for supporters at the Memorial Stadium and have lost only one match on home turf in the league since September and have most recently enjoyed a narrow win over Cheltenham Town in the southwest.

Despite having one of the smaller stadiums in League One, Rovers remain one of the best supported on home soil and thousands of fans continue to flock to the ground to cheer on their team as they look to achieve back-to-back promotions.
