Matt Taylor names an unchanged XI from Bristol Rovers' Boxing Day victory at home to Portsmouth, as The Gas host Charlton Athletic at the Mem in their final game of 2023.

As for visitors, they make just the one change following their 1-0 defeat on the road at Leyton Orient just three days ago. The Addicks have won only one of their last eight matches in all competitions and Taylor will believe his side have a great opportunity to see the year out on a high. Michael Appleton's side sit 12th in League One and a victory would see Charlton leapfrog the Gas in the table.

Rovers recorded their best result of the season so far on Boxing Day, beating the league leaders and ending John Mousinho's side's unbeaten league away record.

Antony Evans has been in fine scoring form of late and Gasheads will hope his goalscoring record can continue. A win for the Gas tonight could see them move into ninth and fans will feel confident they can get a result as Rovers haven't seen defeat in the League at the Mem since August.

Here is how the two sides line-up tonight...

Bristol Rovers Starting XI: Cox; Wilson, Taylor, Crama; Thomas, Finley (C), Ward, Vale; Evans, Collins, Marquis.

Bristol Rovers Substitutes: Ward, Grant, Hoole, Woods, McCormick, Brown, Martin.
