That is according to the latest edition of EA Sports’ popular franchise FIFA. The FIFA 23 game mode ‘Career Mode’ has the starting values of all the Gas players with some interesting valuations.

Jasper, a deadline day signing from Fulham, here on a season-long loan, has the same valuation as McCormick, who signed for an undisclosed fee from AFC Wimbledon, and is here for the next three years.

The 21-year-old is still finding his feet at the Memorial Stadium, as he takes in several substitute appearances, hoping to impress Joey Barton. McCormick meanwhile has started the last few matches after a disrupted pre-season.

Other signings such as Josh Coburn, yet to make an appearance since signing from Middlesbrough due to injury, is just £25k short of being worth £1m. Bobby Thomas isn’t far behind him and is worth £950k.

Despite being tied for Rovers’ best player on FIFA, Aaron Collins, who signed a new long-term contract this summer, is only worth £775k. He has scored six goals and got three assists this season.

Jordan Rossiter, signed from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee is worth £600k, whilst John Marquis, who arrived on a free transfer has a valuation of half a million. Out of the newest arrivals, former Brentford left-back Lewis Gordon is the lowest valued player at £300k.

As for their least valuable player, academy defender Sam Heal, who has recently gone out on loan to non-league side North Leigh, is only valued at £170k.

Rovers’ valuation on FIFA 23 is double what it is worth in the eyes of Transfermarkt, who thought that Glenn Whelan, Collins and Harry Anderson were the most valuable players, with the squad’s complete value being £7.7m, you can see their values here.
