Hide AdJames Wilson (8.5) - Really coming into his own in the heart of the defence and a series of crucial challenges throughout the match really bolstered the Rovers defence. It was very much back to basics for a player who's been among the goals recently.
Connor Taylor (8.5) - Similarly to his defensive partner, Taylor added huge strength to Calderon’s back line with the two central defenders really flourishing as a pair.
Jack Hunt (8) - Another great performance from a member of the home side’s defence, adding strength to their attacks when on the front foot.
No doubting Thomas
Matt Butcher (8) - Rovers dominated in most areas of the pitch and thanks to Butcher, the midfield was certainly an area where the home side gained the upper edge over the travelling side, with the 27-year-old placing a landmark as one of Calderon’s most consistent players who's proving to be an inspired loan signing from Wycombe.

Hide AdChris Martin (9) - The ex-City man broke the deadlock after 13 minutes, a much different outlook compared to Tuesday night as the 36 year old showcased his physical prowess to give The Gas an early lead as well as picking up two vital assists as he keeps showing ex-Gas boss Matt Taylor was right to keep him at The Mem.
Hutch of class
Substitutes:
Taylor Moore (7) - Despite a short contribution, the 27 year old added reinforcements to the defence holding out during a moment of Burton pressure.
Isaac Hutchinson (8) - Found himself on the bench surprisingly, but he couldn’t have responded better by sealing all three points for Calderon.
Sil Swinkels (7) - Similar to Moore, the substitute had a positive cameo settling well into his new found club.
Jamie Lindsay (7) - After Thomas found the winning goal, The Gas looked to find another goal coming close at times where Lindsay contributed in ideal fashion.
