Bristol City have slapped a £25 million price tag on Alex Scott to ward off interest from Premier League clubs this month. The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Leeds United and Wolves are all interested in the midfielder.

The latter club are said to be in talks over a move for Scott during the January transfer window, however a deal is looking unlikely due to the Robins’ demands. If the youngster’s price tag is met then it will match City’s most expensive departure of Adam Webster, who joined Brighton & Hove Albion for £25m in 2019.

Scott made 38 appearances in the Championship in his breakthrough season last time out, netting four goals and providing two assists. He has continued to shine in the second tier this term and has started all but one of the Robins’ matches in the league.
