They look set to feature the in the play-offs but will be hoping they don’t drop any further down the table and will need to head into the play-off fixtures in decent form.

Bristol City will take on Middlesbrough in the Championship this evening (Monday April 10), with the game scheduled to kick off at 5:30pm. The previous meeting between the two sides this season came back in November at the Riverside and ended in a 1-1 draw with Andreas Weimann scoring for the visitors after ten minutes before Chuba Akpom netted early in the second half to ensure a share of the points.

Nigel Pearson has confirmed that Omar Taylor-Clarke is a doubt for today’s game after he was forced off in the second half of their win over Stoke City. However, Kal Naismith should return to the matchday squad after recovering from a calf injury that has kept him out of action for the past two months.

The Robins boss is also hopeful that Tommy Conway will be involved after he was substituted at half-time at the Bet365 Stadium. The forward took a knock to the Achilles in the first half and could be left on the bench this evening.

City could also welcome back Tomas Kalas from a knee injury, however Alex Scott remains unavailable after picking up a minor knee ligament injury.
