Popular managerial simulation game Football Manager 2023 is now available to the public. The Beta version has been tested out and now those on Mac and PC, as well as Nintendo Switch and XBOX Series X, can play the game. It is delayed however for Playstation 5, with no date yet on when it will be released on the Next Generation console.
Ahead of the game’s full launch, fans were able to test out the game and get a feel for it, before Sports Interactive workers could fix any bugs provided to them by the community. Some fans have already began their saves and are trying to live out their dream in the virtual reality world.
You are able to manage Bristol City on FM23 and as you take over, your expectations from the supporters are to avoid relegation, beat Bristol Rovers if you play against them and forge a better reputation than Severnside rivals Cardiff City. Sports Interactive tries to mimic the real life world as they can, working hard to analyse the players and ensure their attributes match their real life ability. It is reliant on data contributors to review the performances of players.
Management isn’t just choosing a team and tactics, for some it goes deeper than that. Managers are tasked with working in the board room to sign players to new contracts, as well as bring in new players. Football Manager estimated a fortnight ago what Bristol City’s players would be on in the game.
