The new Football Manager 2023 game - still in its beta mode - has revealed some interesting estimated per-week wages for Bristol City's players

Football Manager 2023 is a simulation game mainly for those who may never step into the dugout but want to live out their dreams managing their beloved club. The Sports Interactive game has also allowed gamers from across the world to take an interest into clubs they may have not discovered had it not been for the game.

As well as being something for football fans to play in their spare time, it is also used as a data resource for some clubs. Managers such as David Moyes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have previously admitted using the game given its extensive database to help shape their opinion on players. It has also launched the careers of many budding coaches, who have used their experience from the game and applied it to the real world.

Football Manager 2023 will launch on November 8, 2022, but early access is available for those who want to access the Beta version. It is accessible on Steam if you pre-order it there and it is available to run on PC and Mac.

As well as dealing with tactics and organising training schedules you are also responsible for thrashing out transfer deals. Contract renewals are a large part of football management. For some they leave that to technical directors and directors of football, meanwhile at different clubs, some take a hands-on-approach to secure their transfer target or keep their man at the club.

Here, though, we take a look at Football Manager 2023’s estimated weekly wage for EVERY first-team Bristol City player including the ones on loan at Football League clubs. (please note that per-week wages provided by the game may not be true to life):
