Wolves to ‘approach’ QPR boss

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been heavily linked with a move for QPR boss Michael Beale since Bruno Lage’s sacking earlier this month and it now looks like they are set to make contact with the London club.

Wolves currently sit 17th in the Premier League table after winning only two matches this season - one of which came at the weekend. Meanwhile, QPR look to be battling promotion this season as they sit sixth in the Championship - four months after he was appointed manager.

While Beale is yet to hold talks with Wolves, reports have claimed that the 42-year-old could take charge ahead of this weekend’s clash against Leicester. This means QPR could be without a manager as they host Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Terriers loanee could return to parent club

Huddersfield Town. loanee Kaine Kesler-Hayden could return to parent club Aston Villa early, according to Birmingham Live.

The 19-year-old joined the Terriers on loan in the summer and started four of their first five games, however he has since fallen out of favour following Danny Schofield’s departure and isn’t picking up the minutes Aston Villa would want. The likes of Sorba Thomas, Ollie Turton and Duane Holmes are all prefered at either right wing-back or right-back to Hesler-Hayden.

The report claims that Aston Villa’s loan manager Mile Jedinak and head of emerging talent Adam Hensall are monitoring the player’s situation as they grow concerned over his playing time. The Villans will consider cutting his loan short if his spell in Yorkshire doesn’t improve.

Sunderland & Swansea ‘eye’ Premier League star

Sunderland and Swansea City are two clubs targeting an ambitious move for Aston Villa’s Morgan Sanson in January, according to Jeunes Footeux. The midfielder joined the Premier League club last year but has struggled with injuries and poor form under Steven Gerrard, leaving him without an appearance since April. As a result, Sanson will now look to leave the club this winter and Villa could sanction a loan departure.

Lille and Strasbourg are the other two clubs named as interested parties, with both seeming a more likely destination given they are in his native France.
