Bristol City have just one match of the 2022/23 Championship season left before they can exhale, look ahead to the new term, and most importantly, focus their attention on the upcoming transfer window.

The Robins will take on Queens Park Rangers on the final match day of the season — their last chance to build on their current 56-point tally. Following their narrow defeat to Burnley last time out, Nigel Pearson and his men will be looking to end their campaign on a high.

Ahead of the clash against QPR, we’ve rounded up some of the latest transfers rumours involving Bristol City and their Championship rivals.

Bristol City are reportedly still interested in defenders Jake O’Brien and Jack Currie and are “likely to reignite their offers” when the summer transfer window opens, according to Bristol Live.

Centre-back O’Brien is currently on loan with Belgian outfit RWD Molenbeek from Crystal Palace, where his contract is due to expire next summer. Currie of AFC Wimbledon looked set to join City in January, but the League Two side said talks broke down as the Robins failed to meet the asking price.

Sunderland readying six-figure offer for Birmingham star

Sunderland have their eye on Birmingham City midfielder Jobe Bellingham are ready to table an offer. That’s according to the Daily Mail, who report that the midfielder is ready to leave St Andrew’s this summer and would cost in the region of £300,000.

Bellingham, like his older brother Jude, broke through the academy at Birmingham into the senior team. The 19-year-old is now ready for a new challenge and his current contract runs out next summer.

Blackburn, Swansea and Rotherham all eyeing up striker

In the same report from the Mail, it’s been said that Shrewsbury Town striker Tom Bloxham is on the radar of Blackburn Rovers and Swansea City, with Rotherham United also aware of his potential.

Bloxham, 19, has made a total of 79 appearances for the Shrews since making his debut back in 2020. He has contributed a total of five goals and one assist during his time under Cotterill, but he is yet to find the back of the net this season.
