Cardiff City to pay for the cost of damage done by supporters at Ashton Gate

Confirmed by WalesOnline, Cardiff City say they will pay for the damage and have been in discussions with Bristol City about the cost.
What could be seen from the pictures is the lighting fixtures were damaged that left the supporters who didn’t inflict any damage unable to use the toilet facilities.
In their report they say Cardiff were disappointed by how the section of fans acted and are working with both Bristol and the police in their enquiries so those found responsible can be given the appropriate action with CCTV footage to be reviewed.

City aren’t due to play there again now until February 9, so there will be a two week period at least to make the necessary fixes to house the next travelling set of supporters.
